Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers The Coalition promotes the adoption and implementation of international legal standards protecting children from recruitment or use as soldiers. It works to prevent the recruitment and use of children as soldiers, to secure their demobilization and to ensure their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

Child Soldiers Initiative is working to build the political will now needed to properly enforce laws that protect children and bring perpetrators to justice and to render it ineffective to use Child Soldiers. The Child Soldiers Initiative (CSI) is a project that Romeo Dallaire leads, in partnership with Search for Common Ground, the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, the University of Victoria and the University of Winnipeg, and in association with UNICEF Canada, Ishmael Beah, The Centre for Foreign Policy Studies (CFPS) at Dalhousie University and War Child Canada.
