Gastroenteritis: Characterized by nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting, an acute inflammation of the stomach and small intestine.
Histo-blood group antigens: complex carbohydrate structures located on many cells including those that line the gastrointestinal tract and are deemed types A, B, and O (O representing a lack of antigen).
Icoshedral:  possessing a geometric shape of a polyhedron having 20 faces.
Jejunum: section of the small intestine that comprises the first two fifths beyond the duodenum.
Myalgia: muscle pain.
Nanometer: 1/1,000,000,000 of a meter.
