Introduction
to Computers is a 3 credit course that serves as the pre-requisite for most CINS higher level courses AND meets the General Education requirement for Information Literacy/Technology.
Introduction
to Computers is a survey of the fields of computers, data processing, and
information technology. Computers are studied to familiarize students
with the theoretical and applied principles of hardware and software.
Computer laboratory sessions will introduce students to a variety of software
packages that will include word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, communications,
and database management functions.
