Exploring E-Business Technologies (EBUS 102) will provide a broad introduction to the technologies that are being used today in the e-business field. You will explore the hardware/software tools and the key technologies used in e-business. You will become familiar with infrastructure requirements needed to do business on the web; web-based tools used in e-business activities; electronic commerce software in use today; security issues faced by online businesses; strategies used for web auctions and virtual communities; electronic payment systems; and other technical issues that impact an online business. Exploring E-Business Technologies is the perfect course to be taken over the Web if you are a person who is considering doing business via the Web. Taking a course over the Web gives you access to the most recent information and theories available to the lay person. Information in this course will include information provided by the instructor, the author of the text, Web publishers, and other students taking this course.
