Below is an explanation of the icons that you will discover as you navigate the world of Intermediate on the World Wide Web.  The information for the website has been provided courtesy of Barbara Leitherer, Kathy Baranoski, Donna Tupper, Tejan Tingling and Andrew Beiderman.

Introductory Information Introductory Information contains course policies and a weekly calendar of events followed by some instructors.

flash cardsFlash Cards contains some flash cards regarding key vocabulary terms and practice in key topics.  

flash cardsJeopardy Games contains factoring examples based on the game Jeopardy.  

quizzes On-line exercises provides you with practice problems. They are almost all multiple choice, but you will need to work them out in the ususal way.

marquee image On-line presentations will provide you with examples, worked out in detail by Donna Tupper.   These presentations include sound, so you can see and hear examples just like you would in class.

pracexa2.gif Practice unit exams links you to exams which Donna Tupper gave in previous semesters. Your instructor will not give the same exams, but at least you can get a basic idea of the types of questions.
