What is a LAN Party?
A LAN Party is an opportunity for students (prospective and current), faculty, staff, and anyone else to sit down with some friends and play several rounds of some of the latest games with each other in a room filled with networked computers. Participants also have the opportunity to meet new friends, talk, eat, and generally have a great time.
LAN Party Rules
- No Food or Drink in the Labs
- No Fighting!
- Verbal fighting will result in individual being removed
- Physical fight will result in evening being canceled for everyone!
- Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated
which includes:
- Use of Profanity and/or offensive language in chat, player name, or verbal communication
- Misuse of equipment and/or computers
- Cell Phone use inside the lab
- Excessive game sound level
- Sound Level will be kept reasonable
- No Laptops or joysticks - Computers and games will be provided
- Headphones are permitted
- Attendees must meet the age limit requirement
- You may be removed from the premises for breaking any of the listed rules or at the discretion of staff
