Welcome to my home page. I am a professor of mathematics, a native Baltimorean, and have been at Essex since 1969. As a certified academic advisor I am able help scores of students each semester aim for their academic goals.

For fun, I coached the college tenpin bowling team for 19 years. To keep fit, I compete in the senior olympics in bowling, swimming, and track and field. I was fortunate enough to have earned some medals in those events.

A truly satisfying activity for me is landscape photography.
