Welcome to my CCBC webpage. I have been at CCBC since 1998. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in Mathematical Sciences and a BA in Psychology and from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a MA in Leadership in Teaching with a math concentration. My doctorate is in Instructional Technology from Towson University. My dissertation work involved, "The Impact of Delivery Method on Student Success in Developmental Math."
Presently I serve as the Assistant Dean of Mathematics for all campuses and extension centers at CCBC.
Developmental Math Program
The Developmental Math Program offers various delivery techniques for students in need of one of our courses. Courses are offered in a traditional face-to-face format, as well as online, fast-track, blended (or hybrid), and repeat sections. Use the links to the left to learn more about each format.
The developmental math courses are non-credit, but do count towards full-time status for a student for insurance or financial aid needs. Due to the non-credit nature of the courses, they have no impact on a student's GPA. However, letter grades of A, B, C, and F are given in these courses.
I am married and have a great son. We enjoy hanging out together, camping, fishing (and crabbing), biking, or just watching TV. We also have a dog, a lab/boxer mix. Both my husband and I were born and raised in Baltimore so we are surrounded by family and friends.
