These practice textbook exercises are not to be turned in for me to grade. However, in order to be successful on Exams and Graded Assignments you must be able to do all of these textbook exercises. Please ask question about these exercises, course Handouts, and Textbook Examples on the WebCT Discussion board. The first six assignments are a review of pre-calculus. Do them only if you need the practice. In a Calculus course, it is assumed that you have already mastered the pre-requisite material covered by these problems; therefore, we will not cover these sections in class. However, mastery of these topics is expected as they are applied to Calculus subjects.
