VITA
• Selected by the City of Baltimore’s Civic Design Commission to design a wall mural depicting the life and accomplishments of Thomas Jefferson for the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. Installed in 1997, the mural consists of five 5' x 4' framed panels. Each panel examines a significant time period in Jefferson's life. Using original artwork and images from the public domain, the mural was designed on a Macintosh computer and the digital files were then coverted to photographic print material.

• Hold the distinction of being the only visual artist to be named to the three major regional photographic surveys: Photo Baltimore '77, 1977; Photographic Survey of Maryland, 1979; and North Avenue Legacy, 1988. Each selection was a highly competitive position juried by respected panels and committees.

• Commissioned by the Mass Transit Administration of Maryland Arts Panel to design a permanent photographic mural for the Mondawmin Station of the Baltimore Subway System. Located above the mezzanine pedestrian level, the mural encompasses
three 10’ X 12’ light boxes and consists of backlit, translucent 3M Panaflex outdoor advertising material. Titled Archetype, the mural of abstract human faces was installed in 1983.

• First Maryland-born artist to be given a one-man photographic show at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Exhibited in 1976, several images from the Rites of Passage series are now part of the museum's permanent collection.

• Maintain a home studio for my private and commercial work. Selected commercial clients include CSX Corporation, Comfort Inns, Epic Records, General Elevator, Johnson Controls, Maserati (USA), O&K Rolltreppen (Germany), and Westinghouse.

• Self-published five photographic posters of Baltimore that capture the spirit of the city. To date have sold over 50,000 of these posters throughout the United States.
