Heist: Gene
Hackman, Danny Devito, and Delroy Lindo star in this film directed by David
Mamet. The plot follows the general "heist" formula with the robbery
setup scenes and the many double-crosses. The film is entertaining
and has the standard punchy Mamet dialogue. Rating 3
out of 4. (11/17/01)

Hearts in Atlantis: This
film based on a Stephen King work stars Anthony Hopkins. He plays
a mysterious stranger that helps a young boy in 1950's Connecticut.
This film has the feel of a supernatural "Stand By Me", but is not as good
as that or other high-quality King-based films. Rating 3
out of 4. (9/28/01)

Happy Accidents: Marisa
Tomei and Vincent D'Onofrio star in this romantic comedy with a touch of
science fiction. Director Brad Anderson (Next Stop, Wonderland) crafts
a film that follows the relationship between Tomei and D'Onofrio as D'Onofrio
believes he is a time traveller. I can understand some persons not
liking this film, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Rating 3.5
out of 4. (9/22/01)

Hannibal: This
is one of the more disappointing films I have seen. This sequel to "The
Silence of the Lambs" has the acting, but lacks the writing, plot, and
energy of the first film. There are a couple of horrific visuals
in this film, and, simply put, this movie is not interesting. Rating
