Final Project RFP

Overview

The goal of this project is to complete a micro site that describes and gives examples of a specific product.

Formats for Submission

• Live page, with URL submitted to instructor

Project Needs for Success

• You must have at least three properly linked pages within the site
• You must have at least one page of written content that describes the product and has at least one external link to another piece of relevant source material
• You must have at least one page of visual reference material for your product.
• You may only have a total of 5 XHTML pages within the entire site
• You must first mark up all pages using proper HTML formatting for users without CSS and/or an alternative screen formats
• You must style your pages using a linked style sheet

Success Evaluation Strategy

All files are present accessed easily on the students server (or other hosting option)	10
Site root folder has an organized structure and has no unnecessary files	10
Removing the CSS does not destroy the natural flow of the content	20
Site uses and external style sheet and layout is via the box model	20
Research requirements have been met. Site has a minimum of one written page, one graphical page, and one other page of information regarding the piece of technology selected.	30
All links function correctly and there are no technical errors on the site	50
Site demonstrates the student understands designing for the web medium. Including Web based technologies, Content, Site Architecture Visual Design, and Interaction.	50
From the proof of concept to the final post, style and function are solid. Audience is considered	50
