  5. Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the Essex Community College, 1991.
  6. Currently Associate Professor of Philosophy, CCBC Essex.

My research interests are in Buddhism, Early Chinese Philosophy, and Philosophical Daoism, especially the Daoist classic, The Zhuangzi.

My most recent published essay is entitled: "Ritual and the Social Construction of Sacred Artifacts: An Analysis of Analects 6.25," to appear in Philosphy East and West, July, 2005.

I like to travel and take pictures, and have been to Greece, Egypt, Mexico, and Japan. I lived in Taiwan for almost four years, and once spent about a month hitch-hiking through cental and south-western China. My most recent passion is windsurfing.
